Government Medical College, Medak is located in the northern region of the Indian state of Telangana. Medak was originally named Methukudurgam or Methuku Seema due to abundant growth of rice here.

Govt medical college Medak has obtained letter of permission from NMC on 13/9/2024 with an annual intake of 50 MBBS seats. We have over 250 hospital beds with excellent surgical, medical, maternity, childcare and diagnostic facilities round the clock.
